Breathe and release

It’s amazing on how the most simple items in our eyeline can inspire a message for us all. Today, I looked at a pair of nail clippers. A mundane object for sure and then my attention turned to pruning. Look to the garden and acknowledge there will be those plants that need a bit of trimming lest they turn into some rampaging verdant beast subduing all in their path.

The energy in those plants becomes scattered and unfocused and it is the same for us. Think of the Bonsai tree and how with care and attention the most wonderful creation can come into being. When we look at all the things that we do and begin to shape what our heart calls us to do we then begin to turn ourselves into our very own special archetype. Whatever that is, is quite rightly up to us for we are our very own creative architect.

This works on so many levels, from the physical, emotional and the more esoteric. We often hear the terms declutter and whilst this is certainly most useful we have the capacity to take that much further if we wish. It is up to us how much we wish to trim away but just like those plants, once the cuts are made, then new life and growth soon takes it place.

Look to your life right now and ponder what you are ready to let go of. It’s important to note there will be items you want to keep, that is perfectly fine and it may be that you’re not ready to release anything just now. Again, perfectly fine. This is very much a personal journey and we make our changes at our own pace, be it swift, slow or not at all.

It is always our choice.
