Nurture your seeds

How many of us wonder if anything is going on? We follow the path we believe is right and yet at times we discover there doesn't seem to be much happening. This is often the way in all life but we ought to remember that everything we do will contribute to a destination.

When you plant a seed in the ground the green shoots don't emerge immediately. Instead, like a verdant assassin, it reaches into the earth in silence. It seeks nourishment, builds power until at last it finds the urge to venture towards the sunlight. It bursts into a whole new world and ascends. However, first it descended before right moment for new growth came.

This is the issue with our own development. The benefits are often hidden from us, we practice, learn and find the way we are drawn to create. Many are taught certain paths to follow and we do garner knowledge, yet the biggest strides are made when we take a different path.

Some may not lead us to what we imagined. Perhaps they are dead ends, failures even, yet the wise know they are contributions to our whole experience. It is a rare thing to find those who find success at every turn or the first attempt. Many who are deemed successful will have many times where grand plans became a great fiasco.

Yet they became what we deem as successful. How so? Through learning and consistency. When we show up, we give the possibility of a new dawn, a new start. Will it work? Well, that is the question that can't be answered here, but if you're not showing up those seeds are not being looked after. Show up and we are caring for our seeds.

Whether they are weeds or great trees of wonder is to be discovered, but right there is the journey for us all to take. I fancy it wouldn't be much fun if we already knew the answer.
