Weave your world

It’s amazing how something as simple as a wander through the woods can bring something to the fore. Yesterday, I had a slow amble through the forest and it does help bring us very much into the present and give us some much needed nourishment from our planet.
Yet, what struck me was the glorious picture you see in this post. Alas, it didn’t come out quite as sharp as I would like but I think you’ll agree to see a spider spinning in the sun is quite something. They truly are masters of creation and it is certainly a silky work of art, unless of course you happen to be a small fly who strays into its own demise.
It reminds me of how we weave our own lives. We are masters of creation in our own right even if our endeavours are often hindered by our actions and those of others. However, I have no intention in going too far down the road of blame and judgment. It’s an energy I’d rather avoid even if it does seem to be heightened of late.
Instead, let us give ourselves credit for what we have wrought. Some may think they might struggle to find something and to those I’d say, what about every day when you get out of your bed and you make a choice. That in itself is something quite amazing and if you look at your day, week, month, year, decades and life you’ll see you’ve wove quite a tale and just like that spider you’ve weaved quite a wonderful little web.
Remember, your life and your truth is very much your own. We don’t need to compare for that is very much someone else’s journey, not yours. Therefore, let us give ourselves huge credit for what an amazing life you’ve led and will continue to do so. Over to you.
